RAC (Remix Artist Collective) has done a remix of Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeros - Home. Originally I thought that this song couldn't and shouldn't be remixed, but RAC has given it a fantastic new sound without completely destroying it. Definitely worth a listen..

Some Alex Metric Stuff..

Here are a few tracks from the UK's Alex Metric. He's a singer/producer/DJ who also has his own show on Radio 1. His remix of the Gorillaz - "Stylo" is what first caught my attention. A ton of remixes came out for that song but his was among the best. The next track is called "Head Straight" and is a pretty accurate representation of Alex Metric's sound. The last track is a remix of The Beastie Boys - "Sabatoge" which isn't all that different from the original, just womped up a bit with a few other tweaks here and there. I also included the video for his song "It Starts" cause its a sweet song with an even sweeter video.

Electro Wars

So there's a new documentary coming out by Steven Alan Vasquez and One and Only Productions called Electro Wars. It explores pretty much everything involved in the electro scene including the fans and the artists. Duck Sauce is a collaboration between A-Trak and Armand Van Helden and together they are pretty fantastic. Their music combines old school disco with new electronic/house beats and is guaranteed to get people involved. They have released two tracks on Fools Gold Records, "Anyway" and "You're Nasty", which are both magically delicious. We look forward to hearing more...

  Thirty Sweaty Minutes by ALREADY SWEATY 

Club 75 at Coachella..

So I just got back from Coachella and needless to say it was one of the most epic weekends of my entire life. It really is the most perfect situation for anyone who likes non-stop amazing music, perfect California weather, and not to mention some of the most amazing girls anyone has ever seen. The entire weekend blew me away as far as music goes, but the biggest surprise was Ed Banger Records' Club 75, an unstoppable force of French DJs including Busy P, Cassius, DJ Mehdi, and Justice. They played an arsenal of original bangers, as well as some others including Major Lazer's Pon De Floor, which was starting to seem like this years Coachella national anthem. The Sahara tent completely exploded during their set and it was only about 4 'o clock in the afternoon. Here are a few clips of their set although the sound quality doesn't do it justice. I will try to post better ones as I find them.
